Every now and then, one takes the lesson out into the world and runs with it creating something beautiful. Every now and then an athlete uses the discipline learned in the gym to transform herself into someone truly Empowered. And when she does, her coach looks on with tears of pride and knew it was all worth it. Every long coaching day, every disappointment, every unappreciated effort. Because in that moment, the coach can sit back with a sense of fulfillment and say to himself, “I made a difference. For that one, I made a difference.”

It was Big Cat who prevailed with an Empower record of 305lbs (though there are unverified rumours that Dangers has secretly broken that record). Now with Bobo having recently tied the Empower front squat record, it is the perfect time for Big Cat to retire, still officially at the top and undefeated.
